Taming the Tiger

So what’s the deal? You’d think that if you feed a cat and give her a good home the least she could do is let you pet her at will. Some owners report their cat enjoys the petting at first, may even solicit it, but all of a sudden the cat turns and bites them without warning. To stop these bites, learn to recognize cat body language for “enough” then “leave me alone” and finally “STOP”! Included are sound strategies for improving the cats’ tolerance to petting and handling which will improve the relationship between owner and pet.
