Join Steve White at his two seminars:
Auckland 17 – 19 Feb 2012

The Auckland programme is ideal for pet dog trainers, pound and shelter staff, animal control officers, behaviour consultants, obedience and agility instructors.
Why? It covers a topic close to dog training professionals heart, “how do I read the dog in front of me whilst I keep my client, the dog and myself safe?” Friday covers just this topic…Thousand Hour Eyes…a day of live demonstrations, video showing an accelerated learning process, and a seven step process to use anywhere and at any time.
Saturday and Sunday 18 & 19 Feb is about understanding where you are in your training; good, great or artful. Learn from Steve and Jen about stimulus behaviour, the most commonly over estimated aspect of behaviour, through careful planning and follow through. And find out why using videos are your friend in training sessions. Then take your training from great to the level of creative, passionate and artful.

Saturday is the Scentsational seminar where Steve will take us through dog scenting ability and then playing some games to bring that to the fore. This training is critical for those that are undertaking any type of scenting work from narcotics, food, gluten, cancer, wildlife, tracking for fun or for USAR, gas leaks or mould. In fact, anything that smells. Come and take your first wiffs of a new task for your dog.
Sunday is all about tracking, and using the Hydration Intensive Tracking Technique (HITT). People the world over are turning conventional tracking training on its head as they use HITT to train tracking dogs for sport, Search and Rescue, and Police K9 and other tasks. Steve will take us through this process, we will then try those skills, and then we will discuss the results. Great way to get hands on with an expert eye watching.
